I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, which is actually a charming former pub. Its location is unbeatable, just a stone's throw from Portsmouth Harbour, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. The room was clean and well-decorated, but a bit compact for my liking. Breakfast service was quick, although the options were somewhat limited. Overall, it's a great find in a fantastic location, perfect for my stopover.

Rooms
7.0
The room I stayed in was newly decorated, clean, and had a modern vibe, but it was a bit small for my taste. Despite the limited view and compact size, it was very comfortable.
Service
8.0
The staff were professional and helpful, especially when it came to handling my booking changes. However, some interactions felt a bit matter-of-fact rather than welcoming.
Location
10.0
The location is fantastic, just across from the Harbour station and near the Historic Dockyard. It was incredibly convenient for getting around and enjoying local attractions.
Dining
6.0
I had lunch at the cafe, but it was a bit underwhelming. While there were options, I felt it could benefit from a wider selection, especially for breakfast.
Facilities

The hotel features a stylish lounge area where breakfast is served, which adds a nice touch to the overall experience. Still, some basic amenities like a kettle would have been appreciated.

7.8/10

I recently stayed at this charming hotel located right across from Portsmouth Harbour station, which made it perfect for exploring the area. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, but I did find the room quite small and lacking some amenities, especially considering the price of £145 per night. My overall experience was positive, but I expected a bit more for what I paid.

Rooms
7.0
The room was quite compact and felt almost entirely filled by the bed and wardrobe. It was clean and spotless, but being described as a king room made me curious about how small the compact room would be. Overall, it offered good comfort but lacked a few extras.
Service
9.0
The service at the hotel was top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive, which really stood out during my stay.
Location
10.0
The location was ideal for my needs, being so close to the historic dockyard and nearby shopping areas. I could easily explore Portsmouth without any hassle.
Dining
6.0
I found the breakfast options a bit limited, which was disappointing, especially for the cost of staying here.
Facilities

The lift was great and made getting to my room easier, but I felt there could be more amenities in the room itself.

This hotel is in a perfect spot, right across from the bus and coach stations and just a short walk to the train station. My room was compact yet clean, and I appreciated the modern decor, but some amenities were lacking, considering the price. The service was courteous, though the dining experience could use some improvement in terms of variety and execution.

Rooms
7.0
My room was small but warm and comfortable, with modern decor. However, it could have been cleaner, as I noticed some splash marks on the walls.
Service
8.0
The staff were quite helpful throughout my stay, providing good assistance and recommendations.
Location
10.0
The location is fantastic, right by the bus and ferry services, making it very convenient for exploring Portsmouth.
Dining

While breakfast was decent, it took quite a while to arrive, and I expected better well-cooked options.
Facilities

The facilities were adequate for a boutique hotel, providing everything I needed but with room for improvement.

The Ship Leopard is a charming place that has transformed from a pub to a lovely hotel and eatery. While my lunch experience wasn't what I hoped, the friendly staff made up for it. The hotel serves afternoon tea and is situated conveniently close to the historic dockyards, making it a great spot for visitors. However, the price for a night seemed steep, and there were some cleanliness issues in my room.

Rooms
6.0
My room was clean but had some hair in the shower tray, which wasn't pleasant. However, it was comfortable enough.
Service
9.0
The staff were excellent – very friendly and helpful. It really made the experience much more enjoyable.
Location
8.0
The location was excellent for visiting the historic dockyards and close to transport links like bus and train stations, although there was some nighttime noise from traffic.
Dining

I was a bit disappointed with my lunch choice, as it didn't meet my expectations. However, the variety at breakfast was good and I look forward to trying the afternoon tea next time.
Facilities

The hotel is a charming little spot right across from Portsmouth Harbour station and near the historic dockyard. My room was compact but stylishly decorated, though it could have used a few more amenities for the price I paid. The staff was professional and helpful throughout my stay. However, the breakfast options were fairly limited, and I had some issues with the cleanliness of the room upon arrival.
